Mr Motia, builder
Mr Motia learned masonry on site before he ran crews of his own. He has worked in Yaoundé for decades, across building, public works and the materials trade. His name passed from one site to the next, with no advertising: a job done properly brought the next client. His son Brice now handles administration, quotations and the online presence, changing nothing in how the work is done.

One company, three divisions
T.M.R.B CONSTRUCTIONS SARL is the registered name; TMRB GROUP is the name we trade under. Group here does not mean several companies: it means three divisions of a single firm, construction, general trade and agro-pastoral works, with one set of accounts, one management, one signature. For a public or private client that means a single point of contact, clear liability and an administrative file that holds until handover.

Four house rules
A building firm is judged on what stays standing and on what ends up on the invoice. We hold to four commitments, checkable on site and on the quotation. They apply to a boundary wall as to a public contract, and across the counter of our two hardware stores.
Quality of execution
A wall true to plumb, a ring beam properly reinforced, a slab that does not crack: quality is checked on site.
Fair, transparent pricing
Every quotation sets out quantities and unit rates, item by item, before the first spade goes in.
Local ground knowledge
We know the ground, the suppliers and the lead times of Yaoundé and its outskirts.
Integrity
What is promised is what is built; if something unforeseen changes the price, we say so before spending.

From call to handover
A project is rarely lost on technique; it is lost on vagueness. We follow four fixed stages, the same for a house, a farm or a lot awarded by public tender. At each stage you know who does what, when, and for how much.

Site visit
We come and see the plot or the building, note the access, water and ground constraints, and hear what you want built.

Written quotation
You receive a priced bill of quantities, item by item: quantities, unit rates and total, open to discussion before signature.

Execution
A named crew and site foreman, a schedule that is kept, a progress review at each stage of the structural work.
